The Christchurch Singers

Christchurch Singers are a group of people who meet weekly on a Thursday evening between 7.15 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. We sing on special occasions in Church Services, like Christmas, Easter, Harvest and special anniversaries during the year.

Currently, we have 40 members: 22 from Christchurch Methodist Church and 18 from other local churches who join us.

Christchurch Singers Forthcoming Appearances

We are working hard for our Summer Concert which takes place at Christchurch on Saturday 5th June starting at 7 p.m. It's free admission and free refreshments after the Concert.

Our chosen charity for this event is Hayley Okines, a local Sidley girl who has Progeria. Mr Barry Turnwell is our resident M.C. for the concert.

You will be most welcome to come and join us, and enjoy an evening of 'Live' music.

Making music is all about enjoyment. We are just ordinary folk who get together each week, try to make a joyful noise and enjoy fellowship with one another. So if you would like to come along and have a sing please do so.
